Description

The new release of the iPod 5th Generation was available in 30 and 80Gb configurations and featured a 2.5” color LCD.  They could display MPEG-4 and H.264 video.  This iPod could plug into an external TV and display video using composite video and audio outputs or the iPod AV or S-video cables.

History

Building on the previous iPod’s ability to display color images, the 5th Generation iPod could display videos.  This release also dropped the price on both models by $50.
